Grab is expanding rapidly, offering more services as the company grows including GrabExpress, GrabPay and GrabFood. Now the company continues to grow by launching three new services — Tickets, Hotels and Trip Planner.
With Tickets service, Grab users will be able to purchase movie tickets by May 2019 and even event tickets in the future. The service will let Grab users purchase tickets from different cinema chains without needing to create new accounts, and they’ll also be able to use GrabPay to pay for the tickets, earning GrabRewards point.
That aside, Grab also launches Hotels service which offers special hotel booking offers via the app. The service allows booking of hotels from Agoda and in the future, Booking.com. All Grab users are expected to be able to enjoy the service by May.
The third service Grab offers its users is called Trip Planner, which is a great way to help Malaysians plan their daily trips in real-time. The service shows the the estimated times from one venue to another, different transport options, and even upcoming arrivals of transit lines. There is also an Alerts tab that will inform users if there are modified services — delays, or change in payment methods. Trip Planner is already available to all Grab users in Malaysia.
