Webe has been officially launched

After months of teasing, it is official. The newest player in the telco market, webe, has been officially launched.

Before the launch, webe has been secretly inviting TM and P1 customers to access its services since June of this year, making them the first batch of people who have been able to utilise webe’s services. With the official launch of webe, the telco will continue to adopt to invitation-only system for the time being, as to overburden the telco’s infrastruture, which would affect its customers’ experience. While webe will remain invitation-only for now, webe CEO Azizi A. Hadi has stated that the company will be opening up its services to the general public by the fourth quarter of 2016.

As for telco plans, webe did not announce any new plans at the launch event, so it seems that the Postpaid Plan that we covered previously will be the only plan available for now. In the meantime, if you’re looking to get an early access to webe, you could always try your luck by registering your interest for the telco here.
