Warren Spector will work on System Shock 3

Late last year, video game developer Otherside Entertainment revealed that they will be working on System Shock 3. Today, it is revealed that Warren Spector, the head producer of the original System Shock, will be working on the game as well.

According to reports, Spector will be joining the Otherside team as studio director. Prior to his appointment to Otherside Entertainment, Spector has been working at the University of Texas as the Director of the Denius-Sams Gaming Academy.

Spector himself has had a very illustrious career in the video games industry of course. He was responsible for many influential video games such as Deus Ex, Wing Commander and Thief: Deadly Shadows. The last video game series he was in charge of was the Epic Mickey series.

Besides System Shock 3, Spector will also be in charge of the development for the spiritual successor to Ultima Underworld, Ultima Ascension. Details for both of these games are currently scarce at the moment, but with Spector in charge, we would like to believe that both games are currently in good hands.
