Touch ‘n Go eWallet partners with Visa to offer debit card tied to the digital wallet

Touch ‘n Go (TnG) eWallet has announced a partnership with Visa to develop a prepaid card solution that’s tied to the digital wallet.

Both parties aim to leverage on the wide adoption of contactless card and digital wallet payment methods in Malaysia, and the Touch ‘n Go Visa prepaid card allows users to do both.

The TnG Visa card allows users to purchase from Visa’s 70-million wide merchant base across the globe, on top of TnG’s existing QR merchants.

Alternatively, the product also offers users a cash-out option at any Visa-enabled ATM.

The TnG Visa Prepaid card is expected to be available to the masses sometime in 2022, but no clear date has been disclosed yet. You can visit Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s Facebook page here for more updates.
