Sime Darby Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, has introduced the BYD ATTO 3 2024, an upgraded version of the award-winning electric SUV. This latest release marks a significant step forward in BYD’s commitment to combining innovation with superior driving experiences for Malaysian consumers.
The BYD ATTO 3 2024 is built on BYD’s advanced e-platform 3.0 and features the revolutionary Ultra-Safe Patented Blade Battery Technology. It has earned a five-star rating from Euro NCAP and is noted for being the world’s first intelligent cabin designed with a sports and fitness concept. This combination of safety and advanced technology offers drivers both power and sustainable mobility.
Enhancements in the 2024 Model Include:
- Exterior Refinements: A sophisticated black fin at the D-pillar replaces the previous white fin, and the iconic BYD logo now adorns the rear of the vehicle.
- Interior Upgrades: A new “Black-Dark Blue” color scheme enhances interior aesthetics, with two color options available depending on exterior color choices.
- Advanced Technology: The model now features wireless charging and an expanded 15.6-inch intelligent rotating touchscreen, along with continued support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
- New Color Option: Cosmos Black, adding a sleek and sophisticated choice for consumers.
The BYD ATTO 3 2024 has garnered international acclaim, winning titles such as “Electric Car of the Year” by News UK and “Best EV SUV” at Thailand’s Car of the Year 2023 awards. Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Southeast Asia at Sime Darby Motors, emphasized the company’s dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction in the EV sector. The BYD ATTO 3 2024 is available at RM149,800 in a single variant and now comes in four colors: Boulder Grey, Ski White, Surf Blue, and the new Cosmos Black. The Boulder Grey and Cosmos Black models feature the new Black-Dark Blue interior.
