Samsung introduces My Samsung ecosystem in SEA

During the Samsung SEA Forum that was held in KL, Samsung has taken the opportunity to reveal a new service called My Samsung.

Available now on the Android Play Store for Samsung devices, My Samsung functions as a sort of central hub as well as a personal assistant-style service for those who own a Samsung device.

Users who register for a My Samsung account would be able to register their devices to the My Samsung app, giving them easy access to customer support whenever they need it. Apart from customer support, My Samsung users will be able to personalise their devices through the app with ease.

Various Samsung apps such as Galaxy Life and Milk will now work through the My Samsung app as well, and should the user wish to not have these apps available on their phone, the user can set it so that My Samsung would not install these services onto their devices.

In the future, Samsung hopes that they could improve upon the My Samsung app so it could be used as a central hub where a user is able to control all of their Samsung products on just one device.

Currently, the My Samsung app is available in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. New Zealand and Taiwan will be receiving the app sometime in the future.
