The grand opening was launched by Razer CEO Tan Min-Liang alongside Mnister of Finance Lim Guan Eng and Minister of Youth and Sports Syed Saddiq bin Syed Abdul Rahman.

It’s not all about gaming for Razer – one key area of focus for the company is in the fintech industry. The Razer Malaysia team spearheads efforts to bring their very own Razer Pay and currently the e-wallet app can be used at 7-Eleven outlets across the nation.

Razer will also be the official e-sports partner during SEA Games 2019, and part of Razer Malaysia’s aim is to develop e-sports talent in the country together with the Malaysian Government.

It’s great to see such positive developments in the Malaysian fintech and e-sports industry, and to have a major player in the gaming world Razer invested in these efforts, the future of competitive gaming and digital finance looks bright.
