Pre-order for the Nokia 7 run out in a matter of minutes

As HMD Global opens up pre-orders for the Nokia 7 in China, they were sold out in just a couple of minutes. The mid range offering by Nokia has proved to be impressive when it launched last week, so it is no surprise that the phone sold out in a Chinese flash sale.

With the Nokia 2 and Nokia 9 in the company’s pipeline, the Nokia 7 sits in just fine with the existing Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8. The handset sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 630 processor with up to 6GB of RAM, along with a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing selfie camera.

A total of 150,000 units of the Nokia 7 were said to be made available for today’s pre-order flash sale. This batch of phones are slated to be shipped on the 31st of October. HMD Global has sent out press invites for a launch event in India, where the Nokia 7 is rumored to be heading to next.

As of now, the latest Nokia handset is only available in China. The phone will be expected to be sold in other Asian regions by the end of 2017.
