PlayStation Network prepaid cards are now available in convenience stores and supermarkets in Malaysia

Getting a PlayStation Network prepaid card will no longer be a huge hassle as Sony has announced that the PSN prepaid cards can now be acquired from convenience stores and supermarkets in Malaysia.

Starting from today, PSN prepaid cards and PlayStation Plus memberships cards can be purchased from 7-Eleven. The cards will also be made available for purchase at Giant, Tesco, and Cosway soon. The PSN prepaid cards will come in RM100 and RM250 denominations, while the PS Plus membership cards will be available in 3-month or 12-month subscriptions durations which costs RM43 and RM129 respectively.

“This is just the start of our efforts to make digital purchases on our online PlayStation Store more accessible to gamers in the region. We want to offer consumers greater choice in deciding where to buy and how to pay for their favourite digital content. These cards are also wonderful Christmas gifts for friends and family,” says Hiroyuki Oda, Deputy President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia.
