The Nikon D850 takes 4K videos at full frame for RM15,498

Nikon is finally catching up in the DSLR videography space, as the company has finally introduced the long awaited Nikon D850 FX-format camera to the Malaysian market, Nikon intends the D850 to be a multi-purpose camera for content creators, be it for photography or videography, the camera is ready to take on these tasks with its 45.4-megapixel full frame sensor that is capable of recording 4K videos at 30 frames per second, 8K time-lapse videos and slow-motion videos at 120 frames per second on Full HD.

As the successor to Nikon’s D810, the Nikon D850 sports a number of attractive hardware upgrades. For instance, a magnesium alloy body construction that makes it stronger to sustain in challenging environments, a touch-enabled 3.2-inch 2359k dot tilt display, a larger optical viewfinder with 0.75x magnification, and capable of shooting up to 1840 images with the EN-EL15a Li-ion battery. In addition, the D850 has an ISO range of ISO 64-25600 (expandable to ISO 32-102400), a 153-point AF system with 99 cross sensors, and the ability to use an electronic shutter to capture images.
