New Overwatch lunar map available now on PTR

It has been a year and Blizzard still has not stepped on the breaks when it comes to further expanding the Overwatch game as they have recently released a new map on the public test realm for the PC. The new map will be called Horizon Lunar Colony and it was home to the hero Winston, it is an Assault map set in a scientific moonbase which will give you a view of the Earth.

Based on a video released by Blizzard explaining the origin of the map, it was a base that is dedicated to examining the effects of prolonged extraterrestrial habitation on human and apes alike, the research was incredibly promising until all contact and communications with the base were cut off.

Because this map will take place on the moon, only certain sections of the map will offer low gravity areas, as they felt that it would be too gimmicky if the entire map had low gravity. For those of you that want to experience this new low gravity game mechanic, there is an Arcade option that will enable low gravity on all maps as well as low gravity Custom Games option for a limited time.

Extras: Looking at the picture above, we can see that two specimens are missing Winston (Specimen 28)which is already part of the roster of Overwatch heroes, and another called Hammond (Specimen 8). Previously, from what we know, Blizzard likes to put hints about upcoming events or releases all over the place, so could this mean something? Maybe a new Hero or addition to Winston lore? We will find out soon enough.
