Netflix begins proxy crackdown in Australia

Netflix has begun making good on their word as according to Australian VPN users, they can no longer access US-based Netflix content.

Content unblocking service Uflix has reported that some of their  customers are receiving this error message. “Though it is only affecting a few users at the moment, we expect this number to grow. We are working on a solution to get around these new measures and apologise for the inconvenience to those who are currently only getting Australian Netflix,” says a statement on its website.

Moments later, uFlix announced that they’ve found a method to overcome to block, but has stated that it will be putting additional measures in place before releasing it. In the meantime, uFlix is seeking information from its customer base in an effort to work out how many of them were targeted as well as their proxy settings.

With this, it is only a matter of time until Netflix starts rolling out this VPN blocking system into other regions

Hey, I have to agree that the webcam is not the best in class for this notebook, but given the fact that this is a mid range notebook and it gives you decent hardware specs, I won't judge the notebook by a poor webcam performance. You can probably look out for a USB branded webcam that will work better than most notebook computers if you really make video calls. Trust us, webcams on notebooks aren't that good. :)

I really like the design of this notebook. However, I also like the HP Pavilion 14 which has a similar specs with this laptop. Which of the two would you prefer? Also can the VCard support games like Need for Speed, NBA 2k14 and Grand Theft Auto?

The graphics card is merely an entry level one, though it obviously performs better than an Intel HD graphics chip, don't expect to have high graphics settings run smooth on the games you mentioned. :)

If we upgrade the RAM ourself, will it break the warranty?

I don't think so, as the screws to open up cover are non-sealed.

I bought this laptop and have some problem with it. First, sometimes it showing nothing and just hang at a black screen when I turn it on, so I have to force turn it off by pressing the power button, then I have to wait a minute before I can turn it on and it can boot normally. If I just turn it on again without waiting, it will show black screen again. Second, my s410p won't wake up from sleep. It goes to sleep normally, but when I wake it up, it just hang at a black screen, then I have to force turn it off by pressing the power button. So I just can't sleep or hibernate my laptop. Did you encounter/experiencing this problem when reviewing lenovo s410p? Do you have any suggestion for this problem?
