MWC 2022: Huawei MateStation X is a 28.2-inch AIO PC powered by AMD

With its declining smartphone sales, Huawei has been ramping up its efforts on its consumer computing products and has introduced the MateStation X All-in-One PC, sporting a slim 28.2-inch 4K+ touch display with over 90% screen-to-body ratio, making this one of the sleekest looking computers that you will find in the market.

The MateStation X looks rather similar to the outgoing MateView external display, powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors, it is supported by 16GB of DDR4-3200MHz RAM and 512GB SSD. With such a sleek profile, Huawei has managed to fit in a Devialet co-developed speaker system that comprise of two 5W speakers and a 10W subwoofer, which should offer some oomph in music and movies.

In terms of ports, the MateStation X is obviously more generous than the iMac as it comes with two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports with two of them supporting USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds. Like the iMac, it will come with a wireless keyboard with a fingerprint reader that supports Windows Hello login and features a One Step Power-on and Log-in feature, which means you can turn on the MateStation X and login directly with just a press on the keyboard’s fingerprint reader.

The MateStation X will retail at 2199 Euros (RM10,316) and while no availability has been announced, we are sure Huawei will most certainly bring this to Malaysia.
