Microsoft Office for smartphones gets a new update with a range of new features

The Windows Office apps are getting a variety of updates that will enhance how we use the app on both the Android and iOS. Word, Outlook and PowerPoint have all received new features and improvements for those of you that use your phone do to your documentation work.

Microsoft Word’s updates now allow users to see the number of words in a document and for Outlook users, you can now delete contacts directly from the application. Also, there is a Do Not Disturb mode which will block email notifications from showing up. As for iOS, users will now have the option of syncing draft messages which allows them to save the draft and continue amending it on a desktop. It also works the other way around, where draft messages can be edited on the phone as well. Lastly, PowerPoint has received an update that will really help when it comes to creating slides on your phone. It now supports the ability to create and edit sides in a landscape view which is easier to view and read especially on a smartphone.

All the mentioned apps can be downloaded from the Play Store or App Store depending on your device, if you already have the apps installed in your phone, head over to your respective app stores and download the update.
