Microsoft may reveal the Surface All-in-One in late October

Microsoft is due to give the Surface line a hardware refresh and is expected to do so in an event supposedly held in late October. While hardware refreshes are nothing new, rumours are going around that this hardware refresh will be joined by a new piece of hardware.

Said piece of hardware is rumoured to be the Surface All-in-One, which has apparently be codenamed Cardinal. Positioned as a device that can turn your desk into “a studio,” Surface Cardinal would be a Windows 10 powered AiO that is rumoured to come in three different screen sizes (21″, 24″, and 27″). Those screens are also said to offer the Perceptive Pixel screen that can be found on the Surface Hub.

Needless to say, Microsoft are keep their lips sealed at the moment, so all the speculation over Surface Cardinal remains as such until the supposed event happens. On a sidenote, if Microsoft did, in fact, host an event in October, don’t expect huge hardware announcements at said event as the event will mainly be used to announce some updates on the existing Surface models.
