Lenovo delivers big battery in the VIBE P1 and P1m smartphones

Lenovo have been strengthening its VIBE smartphones release in recent months and the company isn’t stopping throughout the end of year 2015, the VIBE P1 and P1m smartphones have made its debut today aiming at smartphone users who wants the best smartphone battery life, it isn’t the first nor the last smartphone company to do so despite of it.

The VIBE P1 is the representing model of the company’s huge battery smartphone model, packing in a huge 5000mAh battery under its 9.9mm metal chassis, this is one premium beauty that will attract smartphone buyers out there. Retailing at RM1,199, the phone’s hardware specs include a Snapdragon 615 1.5GHz Octa-Core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of memory with expandable storage. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel camera with Phase Detection AF and 5-megapixel front camera, a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button, and the huge battery enables the phone to charge up another USB powered device with OTG Charging. The VIBE P1 will come running Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with upgrade plans to Android Marshmallow in the near future.

As a smaller and lower end brother of the VIBE P1, the VIBE P1m is priced very affordable at RM649 and has a 4000mAh battery under the hood, which makes it the most power lasting smartphone in its class. Specs of the P1m ain’t too shabby as well, you will find a respectable MediaTek MT6735P 1GHz quad-core SoC mated to 2GB of RAM and 16GB of memory with MicroSD expansion, it has a decent 5-inch HD resolution display, an 8-megapixel main and 5-megapixel front shooter, fast charge technology and probably the most unique feature for its range – splash resistance from accidental water damage, the phone will come with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box as well.

The VIBE P1 is currently available in authorized Lenovo retailers today while the VIBE P1m is only available at Lazada.MY at this point of time, but fret not, retail availability for the lower end device will be made available on December this year.
