Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro gets leaked

Evan Blass has done it yet again, leaking another device via his Twitter account @evleaks. This time round, he spilled the beans regarding a mid range tablet by Chinese OEM Huawei. Yes, the focus is on the flagship devices due to launch this MWC but let’s not neglect mid rangers.

The MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro is the leaked tablet, very much resembling the MediaPad M2 10 that was featured during CES last month, however with the omission of a physical home button and a Harman Kardon logo. The former features small bezels around the screen as compared to the latter, and sports a Snapdragon 615 processor instead of Huawei’s homegrown Hisilicon Kirin 930.

Other specs include 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD, LTE support and running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which is a little dated today. For those who are curious, the cameras are 8MP on the rear and 2MP on the front, suggesting that you will do no more than video calls and simple picture taking. As the name states, the MediaPad T2 10.0 features a 10 inch screen with 1080p resolution. All of the internals are powered by a 6,600 mAh battery, and housed by a decently slim form factor at a thickness of 8.5mm.

It is not known whether the tablet will be featured in MWC but truth to be told, it will not be getting the limelight with Huawei’s flagship handsets overshadowing the rest of its devices.
