Google just released the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones, and its camera now has a new mode called Playground to enhance users’ AR experience.

Playground, previously known as the AR stickers, is now integrated into the Pixel camera, hence users are able to take pictures and videos with the characters they pick. Google named the characters as Playmoji and these characters can respond to the users and among themselves, meaning if they can read your movements and expression and act accordingly. The mode will also provide users with suggestions of which Playmoji to use depending on their environment, and it works on both your front and rear camera.

There are 4 new packs available this year which are Weather, Pets, Sports and Signs. Google also made a Marvel Cinematic Universe pack for those who are Marvel fans. There will also be a Childish Gambino Playmoji by the end of this year.

Currently, Playground app is only compatible with Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, though it will be available to Pixel and Pixel 2 users in the future.
