Facebook will prompt you if there are photos you are not tagged in

Facebook has added a new feature to their platform that will indicate to you pictures that you are not tagged in and ask if you want to be tagged in the photos. The other side of this feature is to prevent other users from using photos of your self as their profile pictures.

In your notifications tab, it will be a notification that will ask you to go to your Photo Review and tag your self in the photo. There are also other options like ignoring the tag or contact the person that posted the picture if you have issues with it. If you were mistakenly identified in the photo, there is also the Not Me option that will indicate on Facebook that they have incorrectly identified you.

This feature can be easily turned off as you can off the facial recognition or turn off tag suggestions which will automatically disable facial recognition so Facebook will not bother you with photos that you are not tagged in. The company mentioned that the feature is now available in most places, except in Canada and EU.
