Conference call with up to 200 people?

The term “undivided attention” is becoming more of a rarity nowadays. Everyone wants to converse with multiple individuals at the same time. Skype has recently rolled a group calling feature for Android and iOS, supporting up to 25 participants per call. LINE Corporation has seemed to dwarf that feature, announcing an addition of a new group call feature to its LINE app, with support of up to 200 people.

The feature is included in the newest version of the LINE app for Android, iOS and desktop. However, the new feature will be rolled out to countries outside the Asian region, before arriving to countries like apan, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Group calls can simply be initiated from group chats. Also, the number of people in a group call can be set on the spot. When a user is speaking, an icon will appear above his or her user icon for indication.

Apart from that, the app update comes with a slightly revamped design on the “More” screen. The menu icons have been increased in size for ease of viewing. LINE has had over a 100 million downloads on the Google Play Store since it was released back in June 2011. Your move, Skype. What do you think about this feature? Comment below!
