ZTE Axon 7 teaser appears in the papers

ZTE is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming flagship less than a week for now. The flagship device is tipped to be known as the Axon 7. The CEO of ZTE has teased the Axon 7 on the web not too long ago, comparing it with the iPhone 6s and Huawei P9, boasting a screw-less bottom design. It seems like the ZTE Axon 7 is being teased in the papers as well, in a full page ZTE ad.

The ZTE ad which teases the Axon 7 was spotted on the back page of US newspaper The Wall Street Journal a couple of days ago. The ad reveals the front panel of the phone, or half of it, enough to give us some expectations of the upcoming flagship phone. Front facing speakers are almost a sure thing now on the ZTE Axon 7, as the image reveals a speaker grille right above the display, but that isn’t the only attractive element of the device. Also seen are ultra-thin bezels surrounding the display, along with subtly curved edges.

Based on the past couple of rumors and leaks, the ZTE Axon 7 is slated to sport a QHD display at 5.5 inches, a Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the camera side, we’ll be expecting a 20MP primary camera coupled with an 8MP selfie shooter. The Axon 7 is also rumored to pack a rear fingerprint scanner, as shown earlier via Chinese certification site TENAA. What do you think?
