ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G features second-generation under-display camera

Ahead of MWC Shanghai, ZTE’s President of Mobile Devices Ni Fei revealed an alleged Axon 30 Pro 5G that fixes the under-display camera problems faced by its predecessor.

ZTE’s under-display camera technology is improving

In the Weibo post, Ni Fei said the second-generation screen is improved by a lot and asked readers to zoom in to check the clarity of the photo on the phone. While the image quality does look better, we’re still skeptical since the Axon 20 5G was a disappointment when it comes to its under-display camera.

Axon 30 Pro 5G expected to sport latest Snapdragon chipset

Leaker Digital Chat Station also confirmed that the device that is being used by Ni Fei is the ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G and said that it will come with an optical fingerprint sensor. Unlike the Axon 20 5G, the Axon 30 Pro 5G may also be a flagship phone as rumours suggest a Snapdragon 888 chip in this phone.

Despite the lack of information regarding the new phone, we can expect it to have a huge battery with fast charging support, a large OLED screen with at least a 90Hz refresh rate and a quad-camera setup like its predecessor.
