YouTube will now tell you how long you have spend watching videos

Google is always on the lookout for ways to improve our wellbeing when using our tech devices and applications. They released a YouTube usage tracker which allows users to view the time spent on YouTube as well as your average time spent watching videos.

The stats will be located in your account menu which has started its rollout yesterday and it will tell you how long you have been watching videos today, yesterday and over the past 7 days.

There is even the option to set a limit on how long you should be on YouTube before it gives you a cute reminder. This could also be good for parents that want to control their kid’s “YouTube Time”.

Next is the option to bundle all your YouTube notifications into a single notification each day and you can even set the time to receive the notification.

Lastly, is the option to set a duration of time where notifications will not pop-up as Google has said that users are always turning their phones on during bed-time when a notification comes in.
