Remember the first announcement from YouTube that you are able to watch 60 FPS on the desktop, but you wouldn’t have this feature on mobile because of any limitation on the application. We often cannot enjoy the video that we watch on mobile because we are stuck at 30 FPS and especially the gameplay for games. Thanks to Google, now you are able to stream video at 1080p or 720p with 60 FPS without any update on your apps, all you need to do is just select the quality on option.
You will be also able to take this advantage in the near future when the YouTube Gaming is officially launched and you can watch those streams with 60 FPS without any lagging. These features are only available on iOS and Android, sorry for another platform user because it’s not been announced by Google itself. So Windows phone user you had to stick with 30 FPS only.
