You can now tweet to complain telco issues to MCMC

Have a speed issue on your home Internet? Simply tweet MCMC React’s Twitter handler at @skmm_mcmc_react and you might probably receive a response sooner than expected. Spotted by our good friends over at Amanz.MY, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission has set up the Twitter handler with the intention of reacting to any communications service complaints.

Before this, consumers will usually need to submit their requests over at MCMC’s official page, which usually takes a day or two for the officials to respond upon successful receiving the feedback. The new respond and action Twitter handler comes at an opportune timing as the new government’s initiative in improving Internet services here.

At this time of writing, the Twitter account has a 463 followers and has pretty prompt response, some of the tweets have even mentioned the telco’s Twitter handler, a pretty good way of reminding them, don’t you think?
