When the Touch n’ Go (TnG) app launch, they told us that the app and the card will act as two separate services and you will still need to register for a TnG account to use the app. Recently, users have found out that the app now allows you to register your card so you can check your balance.
Sadly, the service still has its drawbacks, you still can’t transfer funds from the app directly to your card, you will still need to visit the reload machines or shops to reload the card. Secondly, the app does not show you the real-time balance of your card, it will take a day before the app gets updated with the correct amount, but you can track up to three cards in the app. Nevertheless, it is much easier to check the balance of your card without logging into the website or asking a reload provider to check it for you.
The app is available to all users and is free to download on the Play Store or the App Store depending on your device.
