Yep… finally.
Instagram has just made the announcement that they have included the feature whereby users can now add hashtags and profile links in their bio section, so this could further enhance a user’s profile. This means now you could use a “#” and “@” in your bio, and the text will become a live link; something that the previous versions were not able to do.
On top of that, it can also suggest trending hashtags as you type it out. Users can also link to someone else’s profile without the need to add the whole “http://instagram.com/” part, since you will just have to type “@” followed by the name and you’re good to go. The person who’s tagged may also choose to remove the tag if they wish to.
Seems like a minor change, but at least now the bio looks a lot more useful for the users.
