Yes and NVIDIA brings GeForce NOW cloud gaming service to Malaysia

Yes and NVIDIA has officially announced a partnership in bringing the latter’s cloud gaming service to Malaysia, GeForce NOW has been a long-time cloud gaming service that hosts many AAA game titles, where gamers can stream games at high quality on pretty much any PC, laptop or mobile device as long as they have a fast Internet connection regardless their hardware specifications.

According to the press release from Yes, GeForce NOW will leverage on the Yes 5G network which customers can expect to stream games through the processing power of the cloud, both parties haven’t announced the service pricing here and customers can only register their interest to be informed on Yes’ microsite here when it becomes available.

From what we can see, customers will ultimately be required to sign up GeForce NOW with Yes just like how NVIDIA has worked with Starhub in Singapore, where it can be subscribed for as low as S$12.49/month when you sign up for the annual plan, which is actually very affordable considering you don’t need to build a gaming PC and own the games, while enjoying over 1400 titles that’s available on the service.

While details are still scarce for now, this is a commendable effort for Yes as it has been working hard to promote its 5G network over the year such as offering free 5G SIM cards, introducing affordable 5G postpaid and prepaid plans, and now, bringing cloud gaming for the first time to Malaysia, we definitely can’t wait to try out GeForce NOW when it becomes available here.
