Xperia M Ultra rumored to feature a 23MP/16MP pair of cameras

Another Chinese rumor has emerged out of the dust yet again, and this time it’s about an alleged Sony Xperia M Ultra, which sports pretty beefy specs, based on the rumor. It is no surprise that mid-range devices are beginning to catch up on flagship ones, along with an affordable price tag. But in the case of the Xperia M Ultra, we beg to differ.

Sony has ditched the entire Xperia Z line, apart from a new Rose Gold Z5, with a whole new family – the Xperia X series. According to a source from Weibo, the Xperia M Ultra will trump many mid rangers out there in the camera department, but we shall go through the alleged spec sheet step by step.

For starters, the Xperia M Ultra will sport a 1080p 6-inch TRILUMINOUS display. We’ll be looking at the fairly new Snapdragon 652 SoC powering the handset, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device is said to feature a dual-camera setup of 23MP and a 16MP selfie shooter, bringing it up against, or maybe even eclipsing the OPPO F1 Plus “Selfie Expert” phone. Moving on, the Xperia M Ultra will have USB Type-C and will come with a fingerprint sensor.

We’re guessing that this alleged device won’t be very affordable after, based on the fact that it is Sony, and of course, the impressive spec sheet. Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
