Xiaomi’s patent reveals dual front camera at the bottom of the display

Notches are a hindrance these days, but Xiaomi has not given up on them. In a recent discovery, Xiaomi is found to file a patent for smartphone with a notch on its bottom instead of the usual top placement.

The patent show that that the Xiaomi smartphone will come with dual rear camera on its back while its front will sport a bezel-less design with dual front camera on its bottom. However, that’s not the only smartphone design that Xiaomi has filed.

In the patent, another design is seen in which the front cameras are placed at the bottom corners of the phone. This design also shows off a bezel-less design, but it’s safe to say that both designs are very unusual and seem impractical.

With these designs, you’ll have to flip your phone upside down when it comes to taking selfies and video calling. Well, at least no one can copy this design, though we doubt anyone will want to.
