Xiaomi's Mi MIX concept smartphone sold out in a mere 10 seconds

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 proved to be a really hot seller after it was sold out in a short 50 seconds during the handset’s flash sale on Xiaomi’s Chinese online store. The feat was achieved roughly a week after the Chinese manufacturer unveiled the Mi Note 2 at its launch event late last month. However, it seems like the company has managed an even greater feat just yesterday, when the Mi MIX sold out in just 10 seconds.

According to Xiaomi Today, the Mi MIX concept phone ran out of stock after its flashed sale opened earlier yesterday. Selling out in a mere 10 seconds would mean that the Mi MIX phablet is Xiaomi’s fastest selling smartphone to date. According to the report, users that managed to grab hold of the handset during the flash sale were only allowed less than a minute to check out, for them to seal the order. Having said that, it is unknown as to how many units of the Mi MIX were made available for the flash sale.

It won’t be a surprise if Xiaomi sold lesser units of the Mi MIX compared to their other handsets, considering the fact that it is a concept phone and is probably more difficult to manufacture. On the other hand, a phone such as the Mi MIX being sold out in 10 seconds wouldn’t be very much surprising either as it is indeed an impressive phone aesthetically and internally.

The second batch of the Xiaomi Mi MIX will be sold on the 8th of November, in typical Xiaomi flash sale format as well. What do you think of Xiaomi’s amazing 10 second feat?
