Xiaomi sold more than 10 million phones in a single month

The 10 million figure from the likes of Xiaomi isn’t very surprising, but the company has set a new record for itself. Xiaomi has made history once again, selling more than 10 million units of smartphones, all in a single month. Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has previously revealed that the company has shipped a total of 23.16 million smartphones in Q2 2017, which makes this current record even more impressive.

Just last week, the Chinese manufacturer has boasted more than 1 million handsets sold in India via a huge sale held by local online retailers. This shows Xiaomi’s significant presence in Asian markets. Along with Xiaomi’s announcement on MIUI forums, it has also opened the 7th Mi Home store in India, to cater to the huge smartphone consumer market.

Xiaomi is also currently in discussion to dive in deeper into another potential market – our neighbors Indonesia. The company has recently unveiled the Mi Note 3 and the Mi MIX 2. It has also rebranded the Mi 5X for an Android One counterpart known as the Mi A1. Let’s hope that Xiaomi will continue to succeed.
