Xiaomi has just unveiled the latest phone in their Redmi Note series with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, a phone that comes with a wide range of camera features and technology to satisfy your photo taking needs and it has a 69% performance boost compared to the Redmi Note 4.
On the rear, there is a 12MP+5MP configuration with a huge 1.4um sensor which allows the camera to capture more light compared to other camera phones. The company has claimed that thanks to their high-end primary camera, pictures are vivid and comes with nice colours, while the second camera produces the bokeh effect that everyone loves.
On the front, there is a 13MP front camera with Xiaomi’s Beautify 4.0 AI algorithm and a selfie-light, allowing you to take your selfies even if the lighting conditions are not favourable. Specs wise, it comes with great mid-range specs as well as the latest mid-range Snapdragon 636 processor, 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio screen, 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 32GB or 64GB of storage.
Powering the device is a large 4000mAh battery which Xiaomi has claimed will give you 14 hours of video, 7 hours of video recording and 8.5 hours to gaming.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be open for pre-orders starting 25 April 2018 on Xiaomi’s Official Lazada store and it will go on sale starting 5 May 2018 on all authorised Mi Stores. The 3GB+32GB variant will retail for RM799 and the 4GB+64GB variant is priced at RM999.
