Xiaomi officially announced the launch date of their new Xiaomi Mijia Photo Printer

Xiaomi has officially announced that they will soon be launching a new product called the “Xiaomi Mijia Photo Printer”. What used to be a smartphone brand, Xiaomi is now looking forward to bring more lifestyle products into the market.

In the image released by the company, it features a small-sized printer that looks like a regular printers. However, just like other consumer electronics products from Xiaomi, it features a minimal design. If you look at the top, it comes with just a single button for turning the printer on and off, whereas there’s also an indicator that shows the WiFi connectivity of the printer, other than that, there’s also a cartridge compartment on the right side of the printer.

So far, Xiaomi has yet released a statement on the specs and information about the printer, but judging from the image itself, it looks like the printer supports printing photos of up to 6-inch. It is also expected that The IoT-powered printer’s built-in printing mode is expected to include ID Card, Polaroid Mode, Postcard Mode, and many more. The Xiaomi Mijia Photo printer is set to be launched on 19 December 2018 and it will officially be launched in China.
