Xiaomi Mi Play is out with 4GB RAM, a MediaTek P35 processor and 3000mAh battery

On Christmas Eve, Xiaomi has decided to launch the Xiaomi Mi Play in China and offer 10GB of free data monthly to those who purchase the smartphone.

The Mi Play has a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and a fingerprint sensor on its back. It is run by a MediaTek P35 processor, and comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, but the storage is expandable with the help of a MicroSD card.

Camera wise, the phone sports a dual rear camera with 12MP+2MP lenses, and the front camera is a 8MP sensor that supports AI portrait mode. Battery wise, the phone comes with a 3000mAh battery, slightly higher than the 2900mAh battery many were expecting.

The phone comes in three colour as seen, with gradient colours like purple and red. The phone is so far only available in China, and comes at the price of CNY1,099, which is less than RM700 when converted to MYR.
