Before the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the LG G6, there was the Xiaomi Mi MIX concept smartphone. Most of us were undoubtedly wowed when the phone was first unveiled late last year. It came with a premium spec sheet, along with the main highlight which is the near bezel-less display. The design in display has since been carried forward to the phones of 2017. Rumor now has it that the Mi MIX 2 will be getting a premium spec treatment as well.
A Geekbench result has emerged on the interwebs, reportedly to be of Xiaomi’s second iteration of the Mi MIX. The result states that the Mi MIX 2 will sport the top tier Snapdragon 835 processor underneath the hood, which speaks for its premium specs already. Its predecessor features a still powerful Snapdragon 821 chipset. Alongside that, the result indicates 6GB of onboard RAM.
Further details show the device running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which comes as unsurprising since the current Mi MIX phone has yet to receive Android Nougat, but that happens to be all we know for now. It is likely that the Mi MIX will feature an even more attractive and sleek bezel-less design when it launches. Thoughts?
