Xiaomi Mi 9T set to receive Android 10 update this October according to reports

Android 10 is out for Google Pixel devices and we’ve seen its new features – well, most of them at least. We tested them out and you can find out what we think here:

Eventually, the new OS will roll out to other manufacturers using Android, but it looks like one of the earlier ones will be Xiaomi’s Mi 9T. According to GSM Arena, owners of the phone can expect to the get the update sometime October this year.

It’s odd that we’re not seeing the Mi 9 get Android 10 yet, since it’s Xiaomi’s flagship – so either we could see it roll out to the device sooner or the Mi 9T will really be the first of Xiaomi’s repertoire to receive the new OS. Either way, it’s a sign of commitment from the Chinese company, who’ve so far hasn’t put a foot wrong this year.
