Xiaomi Mi 6X is now official, comes with a Snapdragon 660 and 6GB RAM

Xiaomi has unveiled the new Mi 6X in China which comes with an 18:9 ratio display and comes with great mid-range specs. This phone is the successor of the decent Mi 5X which we thought for a mid-range phone, offers great performance and could take great pictures.

The Mi 6X comes with a 5.99-inch display which looks very close to the Redmi Note 5. Other than that, it has a Snapdragon 660 processor, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Again, similar to the Redmi Note 5, the Mi 6X highlight is its camera, which features a 20MP selfie camera and on the back, there is a 12MP+20MP sensor. The phone also comes with AI Scene Recognition for better colour in the photo, similar to what the P20 Pro can do. Powering the device is a 3010mAh battery that supports QuickCharge 3.0.

The phone comes with an all-metal body and comes in five colour options, Red, Gold, Rose Gold, Blue, and Black. The 4GB RAM 64GB storage option retails for 1,599 Yuan and the 6GB RAM 128GB variant will cost 1,999 Yuan. The Mi 6X is meant for the Chinese market but just like the Mi 5X being released as the Mi A1 internationally, there are some assumptions that the MI 6X will release as the Mi A2 for the international market
