Xiaomi Mi 6 Ceramic Edition sold out in a jiffy

Xiaomi has always been known for its flash sales of its own products online. The company has managed to have successful sell out flash sales for a while now, breaking new records especially when it comes to newly launched smartphones. Earlier today, Xiaomi put the Mi 6 Ceramic Edition up on sale in China, and the units were sold out in a blink of an eye.

Earlier this month, the standard edition of the Mi 6 was being sold online in China, and units of the phone were reportedly sold out in a matter of seconds. Chances are that the Mi 6 Ceramic Edition was under similar circumstances, though we’re not sure how many units of the premium handset were actually put up on sale.

The Mi 6 Ceramic Edition features pretty similar specs to the standard edition, such as the 5.15-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, dual 12MP rear camera setup (wide angle + telephoto) and a 3,350mAh battery. Design wise, things are a little different as the former features a ceramic body as the name states, plus 18-karat gold camera rims.

Ceramic built smartphones are known to take a longer time in production, and resources are often limited, like the concept Mi MIX flagship phone by Xiaomi. Would you get the Ceramic Edition of the Mi 6 for yourself?
