Xiaomi introduces the new Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i and Mi 11 Lite

The Mi 11 was just joined by new phones today — the Mi 11 Ultra, the Mi 11i, the Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11 Lite.

Mi 11 Ultra

The Mi 11 Ultra comes with a 6.81-inch AMOLED screen that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, pushes WQHD+ resolution and has up to 1,700 nits peak brightness. Xiaomi also added a 1.1-inch AMOLED display on the back — this display is to show notification alerts and function as a preview when taking rear selfies.

Speaking of selfies, the Mi 11 Ultra has a 20MP in-display camera. It’s naturally the phone with the best camera setup in the Mi 11 series. All three rear lenses are capable of taking 8K videos — we have the 50MP wide angle camera with Samsung’s GN2 sensor, the 48MP ultra wide lens capable of capturing 128º field of view, and another 48MP telephoto camera that offers up to 120x digital zoom.

Similar to the Mi 11, the Mi 11 Ultra is also powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip. It comes with 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage, in addition to sporting a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W wired and wireless charging.

The Mi 11 Ultra is priced at EUR1,199.

Mi 11i

The Mi 11i is slightly smaller; it sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that also supports 120Hz refresh rate. It shares the same flagship chip with the Mi 11, but it comes in two storage configurations — you get 8GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of storage. It has a smaller 4,520mAh battery and also supports a lower charging speed at 33W.

Imaging-wise, the Mi 11i has a 108MP wide lens paired with a 8MP ultra wide camera and a 5MP telemacro lens while on the front, you’re still getting the same 20MP lens. The Mi 11i is priced from EUR649, but its local pricing will only be updated later on.

Mi 11 Lite

Xiaomi also introduced the Mi 11 Lite that comes in 5G and 4G variants — this phone is available in Malaysia from RM1,199.

The Mi 11 Lite is the smallest in the family with its 6.55-inch AMOLED display. However, we’re getting a 90Hz display instead of 120Hz. There’s also no Corning Gorilla Victus — the 5G model gets Corning Gorilla Glass 6 whereas the 4G model gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

On the rear, the Mi 11 Lite has a 64MP lens accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP telemacro lens. On the front, the 5G model has a 20MP lens while the 4G model has a 16MP lens.

Both devices are powered by midrange chipsets — the 5G model uses a Snapdragon 780G chip while the 4G model uses the Snapdragon 732G chip. They both come with 4,250mAh battery supported by 33W fast charging and ship with MIUI 12.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G is available in 6/8GB of RAM paired with 128GB of storage, but the 4G model only has 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage.
