Xiaomi Mi 10T series launched: Priced from RM1,356

The Xiaomi Mi 10T series has been launched and it packs small improvements across the board compared to its regular Mi 10 cousin, while costing less.

Mi 10T Pro

The phone itself doesn’t look all too different compared to the original Mi 10 Ultra – the only obvious differences is the lack of a curved display.

Starting with the bigger sibling, the Mi 10T Pro Packs a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD panel that pushes a whopping 144Hz refresh rate. It’s also DCI-P3 colour gamut certified for more vibrant colour output. There’s also a feature called Adaptive Sync that matches the display output with the content refresh rate to make the viewing experience smoother.

For imaging, the phone comes with an 108MP main lens, a 13MP ultrawide shooter, and a 5MP macro lens. For selfies, you get a 20MP lens. There’s long exposure mode to automatically take better night shots. There’s also AI Skyscapping 3.0 to change the tones of a daytime sky or even add effects to the night sky.

For videography, the phone is capable of shooting at 8K, and a new feature called Dual Video where both the selfie and main lenses are used concurrently to shoot a video.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 865 chipset along with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Powering the phone is a massive 5,000mAh battery and support for 33W of fast charging.

The Mi 10 Pro also sports a dual stereo speaker system along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the back and front.

The phone is priced at 599 Euro (RM2,913) for the 8+128GB, and 649 Euro (RM3,156) for the 8+256GB variant.

Xiaomi Mi 10T

Moving on to the regular Mi 10T – you get the same hardware in most areas – the only change is in the cameras. You get a 64MP main lens, plus a 13MP ultrawide shooter and a 5MP macro lens.

Like the Mi 10T Pro, you get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It ships with MIUI 12 layered on top of Android 10.

The Mi 10T is priced at 499 Euro (RM2,426) for the 6+128GB model, and 549 Euro (RM2,670) for the 8+128GB version.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite

The most affordable model of the family is midranger which comes with a Snapdragon 750G chipset which supports 5G connectivity, a 120Hz display, a 4,820mAh battery with the same 33W fast charging support, and a 64MP camera module.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite is priced at 279 Euro (RM1,356) for the 6+64GB model, and 329 Euro (RM1,600) for the 6+128GB version.

The Mi 10T Pro comes in Lunar Silver, Cosmic Black, and Aurora Blue; while the Mi 10T comes in Cosmic Black, and Lunar Silver. We’ll be sure to keep you posted with the local pricing when more information comes.
