The Xiaomi Mi 10 is slated to arrive this month, and it’s one of the more exiting launches this year – part in due to its flagship qualities that will most likely be offered with an affordable price tag.

To add to the hype, it has been confirmed that Xiaomi’s latest addition will use the latest LPDDR5 standard of memory – Micron Technology today officially announces that they’ve shipped a lump-sum of LPDDR5 RAM modules to be fitted in the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphones.

What DDR5 entails is supposedly lower power consumption while doubling the bandwidth. This is exciting news because the new memory standard is so fresh off the blocks that it would only feature in premium flagships – knowing Xiaomi however, the Mi 10 will definitely be a flagship, but it’ll be one of the most affordable devices of the year.

You could possibly get at least a Snapdragon 865 chipset, a 90Hz display, up to 8GB RAM for the base variant, or 12GB for the Pro variant, and up to a 108MP camera too for the latter.

We are fans of the Mi 9 and its subsequent iterations like the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro – and we can’t wait for Xiaomi mi launch their newest addition in the line-up.
