Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro is now official – Snapdragon 865, 108MP camera and 5G connectivity

Finally, one of the most anticipated devices have arrived – the Xiaomi Mi 10 series is now official in its native China. Two variants are in store, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro – both have support for 5G connectivity, so no Mi 10 Pro 5G variant as previously speculated.

Both devices feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ display that pushes a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate – Lei Jun officially shared this info early on prior to the launch. The displays also support HDR10+ for a fuller gamut of colours.

At the back, we see a Mi Note 10-esque look, especially thanks to the camera layout. The Mi 10 gets a 108MP main lens with a 13MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The Mi 10 Pro also has a 108MP main shooter, but with an 8MP telephoto camera, a 12MP portrait lens and a 20MP ultrawide camera.  It also features a triple-LED dual-tone flash, as opposed to the Mi 10’s dual-LED flash. For selfies, both models sport a 20MP front shooter.

Under the hood, it’s no secret that the Mi 10 sports a Snapdragon 865 chipset; in terms of memory configurations both models come with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM; and for storage the Mi 10 Pro gets up to 512GB UFS3.0 internal storage.

The Mi 10 has a 4,780mAh battery with support of up to 30W fast charging; while the Mi 10 Pro has a 4,500mAh pack with up to 50W fast charging. Both phones can also reverse charge at 10W.

The Mi 10 is available in Ice Blue, Peach Gold and Titanium Silver, while the Mi 10 Pro is available in Pearl White and Starry Blue. The Mi 10 is priced from CNY3,999 (RM2,374) for the 8GB+128GB variant, and up to CNY4,699 (RM2,790) for the 12GB+256GB model. The Mi 10 Pro is priced at CNY4,999 (RM2,967) for the 8GB+256GB model and up to CNY5,999 (RM3,561) for the 12GB+512GB variant. The phones go on sale in China today, however, its Malaysian launch date is still yet to be announced.
