Xiaomi Max specs revealed through TENAA

Xiaomi isn’t one to shy away from leaks and reveals of its products. The Xiaomi Max had countless leaks, leading up to its unveiling next week. Xiaomi has subtly teased the device with the Xiaomi Max poking out of a jeans pocket in an image teaser uploaded to MIUI forums. The handset has recently gone through China’s TENAA certification and we have the specs and a couple of shots of the Xiaomi Max laid out for your viewing pleasure.

For starters, the Mi Max sports a 6.4-inch display as rumored, with 1080p resolution. It features the same processor like the one underneath the hood of the Redmi Note 3 – a Snapdragon 650, alongside either 2GB or 3GB of RAM with 16GB or 32GB of storage. And yes, TENAA has listed two variants of the Mi Max. Next up, the Mi Max features a 16MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. A fingerprint sensor is included as seen in the image. Also, we’re expecting the speaker grilles of the Mi Max to be placed at the bottom of the handset.

Specs-wise, the Xiaomi Max is clearly within the midrange spectrum, a far cry from initial rumors stating that the device will allegedly feature the flagship Snapdragon 820 SoC.
