Xiaomi launches the Mi 9 Pro while its 5G variant is coming on October 31

Just a few hours ago, we discussed the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G that has its alleged specs leaked but now that the phone is officially launch, we can finally confirm the specs of the Mi 9 Pro and its 5G variant.

During the launch event, the Mi 9 Pro has been confirmed to be equipped with a Snapdragon 855+ chipset and come with either 8GB or 12GB RAM. While the leak suggested the phone to sport 256GB storage, it turns out that the Mi 9 Pro will also have a 128GB variant and a 512GB variant.

Apart from that, the leak is also right about its 4,000mAh battery. It supports 45W wired charging, 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless Qi charging. According to GSMArena, there will be a 45W charger included in the box.

The cameras of the new flagship device remains at a 48MP triple camera setup. A 16MP ultra wide sensor is spotted on the rear alongside a 12MP telephoto lens and on its front, we see the same 20MP selfie camera.

The Mi 9 Pro starts at CNY3,699 all the way up to CNY4,299 and will come in two colour options: Dream White and Titanium Black. Its 5G variant will be available at the end of October, so the pricing of that model is still unknown.
