Xiaomi launches another mountain bike

It is difficult to find another company like Xiaomi. Not only does Xiaomi make extremely affordable smartphones, but the company has been expanding and venturing to other areas outside the smartphone industry where it sees fit. The last couple of years saw Xiaomi launch a slew of Mi smart home products like an air purifier, smart TV’s, even to the extent of a smart rice cooker. Now the Chinese manufacturer has launched yet another mountain bike to its collection, known as the Mi Qicycle Mountain Bike.

Of course, the Mi Qicycle Mountain Bike has a ton of features similar to what you get on a standard mountain bike. For instance, the mountain bike has an 11-speed transmission system and a hydraulic shock absorber system prepared for traversing different types of terrain.

What’s special is that the Qicycle Mountain Bike has a built in smart module that features GPS and AGPS with a pre-installed China mobile SIM for location tracking. The smart module also consists of an app which tracks distance and time when biking, allowing users to set various targets. It packs a 2,600mAh battery for its power consumption and can be recharged via a power bank.

Most importantly, the Mi Qicycle Mountain Bike is affordable at a price tag of CNY 1,999 (RM 1286.01), which sounds like a value for money product. It will unfortunately be available only in China.
