Xiaomi is set to unveil the Redmi Pad SE in Malaysia

Shortly after introducing the Xiaomi Pad 6, Xiaomi is set to introduce a new budget tablet to the Malaysian market known as the Redmi Pad SE, as spotted by our friends at Lowyat.NET, the device has been registered in SIRIM’s database with the model number 23073RPBFG on 7th July 2023.

According to Gizmochina, the Redmi Pad SE is expected to feature a 10-inch IPS display with 2K resolution that refreshes at 90Hz, quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support, while it will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset, paired with various storage variants of up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, an 8000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging.

Overall, the Redmi Pad SE doesn’t seem too different from the outgoing model and we are merely seeing a chipset downgrade.

The Redmi Pad boasts excellent hardware value and we loved it back on our review, and we certainly can’t wait to find out what the Redmi Pad SE has in store for us.
