Xiaomi introduces the Amazfit Verge smartwatch priced at $115

Xiaomi has been hard at work developing not only smartphones but other household devices like a smart rice cooker, table lamps and even a motorized scooter. The next product that they released, alongside their sub-brand, Huami, is a new smartwatch in Chinese priced at $115 (RM476.219).

The Amazfit Verge comes with a 1.3-inch AMOLED protected by Gorilla Glass 3 with a resolution of 360×360 and runs on Huami’s own OS. Specs wise, it comes with a dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM. Other features include the Xiao voice assistant, heart rate sensor, NFC for mobile payments via Alipay, built-in GPS and integration with Mija home products. Finally, it comes with an IP68 certification, allowing it to be submerged as deep as 5-feet for 30 minutes.

The company previously produced another smartwatch called the Amazfit Bip which was sold in the US. However, there is no indication if this smartwatch will follow suit. If you don’t mind being an early adopter of this watch, it is currently available in China from Tmall and JD.
