Xiaomi has a mysterious phone called POCOPHONE that was filed with the FCC

Xiaomi is all set to launch their new Mi Max 3 and Mi Mix 3 phones in the second half of this year. However, it looks like they are in the works of releasing a new phone called, POCOPHONE which was spotted in an FCC filing.

The POCOPHONE will come in two different storage variants, the first being a 64GB model and the other is a 128GB model, both the models will come with 6GB of RAM. There are no other details on the phone, whether it will be a mid or high-end phone as some of their flagships and mid-range phones come with the same amount of RAM and storage as well. It is hard to tell, as they have covered the mid-range and flagship segment with their Redmi and Mi devices.

The name, POCOPHONE, could also be a codename for the phone or it could be an entirely new segment in the company’s portfolio. With the recent announcement of their IPO in Hong Kong, Xiaomi is doing well in reaching the different markets and parts of the world, so this could be a region-specific phone as well.
