Xiaomi gives a peek of the Mi Max

Chinese OEM’s are often more than happy to have their unreleased devices leaked or teased to the tech community, and Xiaomi isn’t any different. Recently, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun intentionally posed for the camera, showing off the yet to be released Mi Band 2 with a display on it. We’ve discovered that the rumored Xiaomi Mi Max was teased on MIUI forums, by none other than the folks at Xiaomi.

The image shows the alleged device in a jeans pocket with most of its top left corner exposed out in the open. One thing to note, as rumored before, the Mi logo is missing on the top left corner of the device. Here’s a closer look:

Other than that, there seems to be nothing significant that can tip us a thing or two about the Mi Max. There’s the usual selfie camera in Xiaomi fashion and slim bezels around the display. Although it fits into the pocket, a 6.4-inch QHD display as rumored may still be possible, since the device is poking out of the pocket. The Mi Max will allegedly feature a Snapdragon 820 processor, with a newly added rumor of a homegrown Xiaomi SoC. What are your thoughts on the Xiaomi Mi Max so far?
